Since several years I meet and pass Francis Puivif on my road.
It is evident that he is a secret and discreet artiste.
I discovered his work through the Art Triangle exibition.

One of the qualities of this original manifestation is, in the first place: to discover...
We are obviously getting away from the number of artits, courtiers of cultural authority and medias, so eager to extol sycophants, and I must say I have seen some during my long cultural career...(but lets not be slanderous)

With Francis Puivif art comes out of the screen, he invents games of gazes, colours and lights, with junk works that become artistic icons of our consumer society. Assemblages that tell, with sometimes a child´s look, the passing train of our daly life. Francis has a new artistic look, he doesn´t burden himself with guidelines or pointless theories. He assembles and creates a game of glance that our retina perceves like a kaleidoscope.

Francis gazes at the sky wile keeping his feet on the ground, he is an equilibrist ! This is obvious, because he continues his journey quietly and instinctively into materials, fitter of objects which, by magic, will be testimony in colour for today, and wy not ? for tomorrow ?
With Francis art has definitely come out of the sceen...motion !
